What We Need Before We Start Building

To move quickly and build your website correctly the first time, we collect a small set of inputs before the build begins.

This guide explains exactly what we need, why it matters, and how to prepare it without overthinking.

    Overview

Xyren websites are built fast because the decisions are made upfront.

You don't need to write copy, design layouts, or manage tools. You just need to provide a few key pieces of information so we can align the site to how you actually sell.

Once these are in place, we handle the rest.

Step 1: Confirm Your Primary Offer

Your website is built around one clear action.

Before we start, we need to know:

    • What service you want to promote first
    • What type of conversation or booking that service requires

    Examples:

    • Discovery call for a professional service
    • Estimate request for a home service
    • Consultation for a higher-consideration offer

This keeps the site focused and conversion-driven.

Step 2: Provide Your Domain Access

We'll need access to the domain you plan to use for the website.

You don't need to configure anything yet — just:

    • Purchase the domain
    • Share access or permissions when requested

If you don't have a domain yet, follow Guide 01: How to Prepare Your Domain before continuing.

Step 3: Share Your Brand Basics (Lightweight)

This is not a full branding exercise.

    We'll ask for:

    • Business name
    • Logo (if you have one)
    • Preferred color direction (optional)
    • Any existing website or references (optional)

If you don't have branding finalized, that's okay. We'll design for clarity and credibility first.

Step 4: Define Your Scheduling Rules

Before building, we need your answers from Guide 03: How to Configure Scheduling, including:

    • Meeting type
    • Availability windows
    • Call length
    • Pre-call questions

This allows us to configure booking correctly from day one.

Step 5: Confirm Contact & Intake Preferences

    We'll also ask:

    • Where inquiries should be sent (email or dashboard)
    • Whether you want simple contact forms or more detailed intake
    • Any specific questions you want leads to answer upfront

This ensures inquiries are useful, not just notifications.

Step 6: Final Review & Build Kickoff

    Once everything above is confirmed:

    • We lock the scope
    • Begin the build
    • Deliver a working site in 5–10 days

You won't be asked for ongoing input unless something needs clarification.

    Final Note

Preparation is what makes speed possible.
